We work through the same checks a DVSA tester would apply, including:

On-site roller brake testing

Brake performance is one of the most common reasons HGVs fail their annual test. Because we have a roller brake tester on site, we can check actual brake efficiency figures rather than estimating from a visual inspection. If your brakes aren’t performing at the required efficiency levels, we’ll find out — and fix it — before the test.

Getting your vehicle through first time

Most MOT failures are avoidable. Worn brake pads, cracked tyre sidewalls, defective lights and loose steering are all things that show up in a proper pre-check. Taking the time to prepare your vehicle properly costs less than a re-test and the lost time that comes with it.
