About Direct Commercial Vehicle Services
Direct Commercial Vehicle Services has been maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles from our workshop in Brigg for over 20 years. We're a family-run business — not a franchise, not a dealership group — and the people who answer the phone are the same people who work on your vehicles.
That matters more than it might sound. Over two decades in the trade, we've seen what happens when operators are passed between departments, quoted one price and charged another, or left waiting because their job isn't a priority. We built DCVS to be the opposite of that.
What we do
We provide workshop services for HGVs, vans, trailers and fleet vehicles from our base at Island Carr Industrial Estate in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. Our work covers the full range of commercial vehicle maintenance — from routine servicing and PMI inspections through to diagnostics, brake testing, tachograph calibration, MOT preparation, trailer repairs and 24-hour breakdown call-out.
We're also an Iveco authorised repairer, which means manufacturer-trained technicians, genuine parts, and the equipment to work on the full Iveco range — Daily, Eurocargo, and S-Way — to warranty standard.
Twenty years in the trade
Over more than two decades, we've worked with owner-drivers running a single truck, transport managers looking after small regional fleets, and everything in between. The work changes but the principle doesn't: do the job properly, communicate clearly, and don't waste the customer's time.
We understand the commercial reality of running a vehicle. Downtime costs money. A truck that's off the road isn't earning. That's why we open at 6am Monday to Saturday — because if your driver starts early, your workshop support should too.
How we work
We don't do unnecessary work. If a vehicle comes in for a service and we find something that needs attention, we'll tell you what it is, why it matters, and what it'll cost before we touch it. You decide. That's how we'd want to be treated, and it's how we treat customers.
We also understand O-licence obligations. PMI inspections, maintenance records, tachograph compliance — we know what operators need, not just what the vehicle needs. For owner-drivers and small fleet operators who don't have a transport manager, we can act as a practical support point for the maintenance side of compliance.

Our workshop is at Island Carr Industrial Estate in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, DN20 8PD. We're easy to find and have the space and equipment to handle HGVs, artics and trailers alongside light commercials.
